Senators condemn the fatal shooting of the Israeli Embassy employees as families cry

A Kansas community met to celebrate the life of the Israeli Embassy Employee Sarah Milgrim Tuesday after being fired fatally with her boyfriend, Israeli Embassy Companion Yaron Lischinsky, leaving the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington last week.

Lischinsky had bought a compromise ring and was planning to propose Milgrim before the two were killed, according to the couple’s nearby. The suspect, Elias Rodriguez, was accused of two first degree killings; murder of foreign officials, a crime of federal capital; and multiple counts related to weapons. Could face the death penalty if you are convicted.

The suspect called “Free Palestine” while in police custody, and fatal shooting is being investigated as a hate crime, according to the FBI. Legislators have condemned violence as an act of anti -Semitism.

Talking to Fox News Digital at Capitol Hill, Republican senators and Democrats condemned the fatal shootout.

Senators Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., And Rick Scott, R-FLA., Last week on the Senate Flat, they condemned what they described as an “anti-Semitic attack” and celebrated the passage of their bipartisan resolution recognizing the most American month of Jewish heritage.

“This is the worst nightmare of everyone that people would not only participate in anti-Semitic rhetoric, but would act on it,” said Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas.

Senator Jeff Merkley, D-Ear, told “everyone reminds us how hatred and prejudice of life lead to violence. We must redouble our efforts to stop any form of prejudice or mustache.”

“Obviously, there has been an increase in anti -Semitism in recent years,” Senator Kirsten Gillibrand told Fox News News, Dn.y.

Gillibrand is one of the two Democratic Senators representing New York, which houses the largest Jewish population in the United States, and also includes Columbia University, the Elite Ivy League school in Manhattan, which has been accused of allowing anti -Semitism to be made on the campus.

President Donald Trump has condemned anti-Israel protests to elite universities, threatening to reduce federal funding to institutions that do not condemn anti-Semitism and threatening to revoke international students’ visas.

“It is unfortunate that two young people with all their lives in front of them cannot go to a reception in a public building in Washington, DC, and are safe. He is criminal. He is unfortunate. He is intolerable and we have to do his best to stop anti -Semitism on his tracks and protect people,” added Gillibrand.
