The Democrats of the Chamber’s Judicial Committee sent a letter on Tuesday requested the President of the Chamber Judicial, Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, condemn the National Security Department (DHS) for having entered the Congressional Congress Office of Jerry Nadler and delivering a member of his staff.

The letter, sent by Nadler and his member of the judicial ranking of the Jamie Raskin house, D-MD, disputes the statement of DHS that agents made a “security check” at the Nadler office.

“Therefore, we ask you to bring DHS secretary, Kristi Noem, to our committee immediately to answer our questions about the irresponsible and dangerous actions of his agency,” the House Democrats said in the letter.

Nadler and Raskin said that the published video of the incident reveals that agents handcuffed staff and demanded access to “non -public areas” at the Nadler office without “asking the security and safety of their staff”.

“This type of intimidation tactics are completely unjustified and cannot be tolerated. The decision to enter a congressional office and detain a member of Congress staff demonstrates a deeply worrying contempt for appropriate legal borders,” said Nadler and Raskin.

The House Democrats urge Jordan to condemn the incident and request DHS secretary noem testify to the Chamber’s judicial committee.

“We call you, as chairman of the Chamber of the Judicial Committee, to condemn this aggressive face to the separation of powers and the security of Congressional members, our staff and our components,” said Nadler and Raskin.

DHS previously told Fox News Digital that the Federal Protection Service (FPS) officers who entered the Nadler office responded to the reports that protesters were in the Nadler district office in Manhattan. There was a protest outside an immigration court at the same facility as the Nadler office.

“Based on previous incidents in a nearby installation, FPS officers were concerned about the security of federal office employees and went to location to ensure the security and well -being of those present,” a national security spokesman told Fox News.

“The officers identified and explained their intention to carry out security control. However, an individual became a verbally confronted and physically blocked access to the office,” the spokesman added. “Officers detained the person in the hallway in order to complete security control. They were all released without further incidents.”

The House Democrats refuted the demand of the spokesman for the letter and criticized the incident as a greater topic within the repression of President Donald Trump on illegal immigration.

“Unfortunately, this incident is part of a wider pattern of President Donald J. Trump and the use of illegal, chaotic and reckless tactics in communities throughout America, as they threaten and intimidate children, clergy members, students, as well as members of the congress and their staff,” they said.

Nadler struck Trump to “sow chaos” in a statement published on Saturday.

“The moment is now to stop the use of these illegitimate tactics and to say that DHS complies with the law and the rules of common human decency,” Network and Raskin conclude a la carte.

DHS did not immediately provide any comment.
